DECIDE GUIDESDecide Guides are your answer to quick, efficient decision making using a tried and tested process. Over the years, we have worked with many clients, helping them to make major personal and professional decisions. From this work, we have developed a structured Decision Making Process (our Decision Framework that has been extremely successful in both consulting and counseling environments. Our work using the Decision Making Framework has been primarily on a face to face basis with our clients. However, while doing this work, we have discovered the need for a program of self help decision making aides to assist people in making decisions on their own. To address this need, we have developed a new, online program that we call our ‘Decide Guide’ Program.
The core of any decision making process is the set of questions that drive the process to the accumulation of information needed to make the ultimate choice. Each individual DECIDE GUIDE consists of the list of questions that is appropriate when making a particular decision. The entire DECIDE GUIDES Program consists of three levels. Decision by GUIDE LevelLevel One Guides provide a list of questions that are meant to stimulate the thought processes to gather the data that one needs to make a particular decision. This level is designed for the person who wants help in generating the raw data needed to make the decision. This person is looking for the appropriate questions to ‘jump start’ the data gathering effort as the first part of the decision making Decision Making Process.Level Two Guides include the same list of questions as Level One, but will also include several Decision Making Tools to assist in the process. These tools will vary from guide to guide and are meant to provide another layer of data gathering stimulation and/or data analysis . Level Three Guides include all items from Level Two plus a number of probing, interpretive questions intended to make the data gathered a bit more informative. The questions are specific to the topic being covered by a particular guide. The DECIDE GUIDES Program is the next best thing to actually working one on one with a skilled professional. But, in many cases, it can help individuals to come to a more informed, more successful conclusion to their journey down the path to making a decision.
